What will students will learn
In Grade 9 Social Studies students learn about
Canadian civics and contemporary governance, including the political system, rights, and citizenship, alongside historical perspectives such as revolutions, immigration, and the experiences of various groups within Canada. The curriculum also focuses on developing historical thinking and research skills, understanding the relationship between people and the land, and how to become engaged, responsible citizens in a diverse society.
