PALMER P.R.I.D.E
R.C. Palmer Secondary School, named for a prominent Richmond magistrate,
opened as a junior high in 1959 and became a full secondary school in the late 1990s. The school was significantly impacted by a major fire in 1976, requiring extensive rebuilding, and underwent official reopening and expansion to a grade 8-12 facility in 2000. The school is known for its diverse student population, a history of athletic and academic excellence, and its Pre-AP/Incentive Program.
