What is Chemistry

Chemistry is the branch of science that looks at all the things that are made of matter and how they change. Matter is everything and includes things we see and feel in our lives today, including the water we drink, the air we breathe, and the metals we use. In the study of chemistry, we understand not only what different substances are made of but how those substances react with one another. Studying chemistry provides us with an understanding of everyday things, such as the melting of ice, the cooking of our food, and the functioning of various cleaning products.

A key feature of the study of chemistry is the study of tiny things called atoms (the smallest things that make up all matter), and of larger substances called molecules (the combination of two or more atoms). Chemistry also involves studying the ways that chemist's synthesis or separate different substances to create new substances through a process called Chemical Reactions. Other topics covered in the study of chemistry include how to use the Periodic Table to identify substances, the properties of acids and bases, and how energy exchanges occur during chemical reactions.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, Chemistry is a study of Matter and all the ways in which it can change and develop. The study of Chemistry provides students with an understanding of how the universe works, and it lays the groundwork for an understanding of science and Technology now, and in the future.
